Phone Script for Kamala Harris
- SF Office: (415) 355-9041
- DC Office: (202) 224-3553
- Sacramento Office: (916) 448-2787
- LA Office: (213) 894-5000
- San Diego Office: (619) 239-3884
Call the SF office first, but try the other offices if you can’t get through. If you keep calling and can’t get to a live person, then leave a voicemail and also send a follow-up email.
If you do send an email, it’s essential that you write it in your own words. Copy-pasted emails are discounted by Congressional staff. We have to show that these issues mean so much to us that we’re putting in serious effort.
Don’t forget to mention that you are a member of Indivisible SF when you call… they have told us that they are specifically coding and tracking communications from our group. Let’s show them that we are a real force in resisting the Trump agenda!

Hi my name is ________. I am a constituent of Senator Harris and I am calling from zip code ______. I am also a member of Indivisible SF.
I am concerned that Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley broke with a 100 year old Senate norm by ignoring Sen. Tammy Baldwin's blue slip refusal of nominee Michael Brennan for the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Brennan is an extreme partisan with a record of hostility to women's rights, LGTB rights, and civil rights--he is not fit to be a judge--and I want Sen. Harris to vote NO on his appointment.
I am also very concerned that Grassley will also disregard the Oregon senators' objections to Ryan Bounds for the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Bounds has a history of insensitive and racist rhetoric, inappropriate for a judge. Senator Harris must speak out loudly against his nomination.

- Ask Sen. Harris to limit appropriations funding for DHS/ICE.
